Gerald Mair is not only the artistic director of the Klangvereinigung, but also conductor of the orchestra when on tour, at balls in the Vienna Hofburg, CD recordings, as well as conducting all nine of Beethoven's symphonies during the beethoven.complete project in 2016.
Johannes Wildner is an experienced conductor infuenced by his time as member of the Vienna Philharmonic, and conducts the Klangvereinigung during the summer season at Oper Burg Gars, where Wildner is artistic director. Every year the Oper Burg Gars puts on open air performance of operas such as Otello, The Magic Flute, Tosca and Fidelio, to name only a few.
